Niamh Lynch (MA, BA, MAPCP) is a Psychotherapist who offers both Face to Face and Online sessions.
Psychotherapy is a process which offers a non-judgemental and confidential space in which the client can take some time to explore and understand their thoughts, feelings and behaviours relating to issues that are troubling them.
Psychotherapy offers you a safe, confidential place to talk about your life and anything that may be confusing, uncomfortable or painful. It allows you to talk with someone who is trained to listen attentively and to help you improve your emotional and mental health. I am committed to providing professional and high quality psychotherapy services.
My psychotherapy training was integrative which means that I am trained in a number of different therapeutic techniques to deal with a variety of problems. I am also specialised in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a type of Psychotherapeutic approach that helps you to manage your issues by changing the way you think and behave. CBT works to teach you that your thoughts and actions can affect the way you feel. CBT focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive processes and maladaptive behaviours, improving emotional regulation and developing personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.
